(1) Candidates recommended by the Selection Committee for appointment to the post of Assistant Nurse shall be appointed by the Executive.

(2) Candidate for appointment to the post of Associate Nurse. The candidate recommended by the committee will be submitted by the Commander-in-Chief to the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Defense for approval and from the date of approval, the said candidate will be given the position of Assistant Medical Commissioner. The successful woman can be promoted to the post of associate nurse.

(4) For substantive promotion in the following period of time - from the date of being appointed or promoted to the position of associate nurse, the following service period and conditions must be fulfilled.

( a) Completion of two years of satisfactory service from co-doctor to senior doctor and passed technical basic training.

(b) Nine years of satisfactory service from senior doctor to co-skilled doctor.

) Thirteen years of satisfactory service from sub-skilled medical facility to skilled medical facility.

(d) Seventeen years of satisfactory service from skilled medical facility to highly skilled medical facility.
